We've had Nick do a variety of projects for us, ranging from deck restoration to exterior window casing repair/replacement. We were so impressed with the quality of his work that we recently hired him to renovate our kitchen, and he did a marvelous job. Rather than a complete renovation, he worked with us to design a somewhat scaled down plan that included: revitalizing existing cupboards, installing new lighting, installing a new cooktop stove with improved ventilation, replacing linoleum with a hardwood floor that matched adjacent rooms, and adding additional cupboards and a cabinet for formal glassware. He is meticulous--and he's a master at solving any challenges that arise in a project. He's a pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend him, whether it's for a small repair project or a large scale renovation.

Bought a house 4 years ago and over the course of the 4 years found several structural issues with the house. Nick and team pretty much rebuilt my sunroom, master bedroom, kitchen, garage and replaced all the windows in the house. I would not have gone back to them year after year if they did not provide exceptional service, excellent workmanship, and fair price. Nick's work is impeccable and his attention to detail is second to none. But most of all, Nick is extremely reliable and fair. Once the project details are agreed he will drive it through completion. He will be transparent on progress and issues and guide us through decisions that need to be made along the way. If there are problems he will work on them and solve them. I very highly recommend his work.

We've done two projects with Nick and his crew. The first was to power wash and apply polymeric sand on our back patio, which is a mix of flagstone and brick. The result is beautiful!

The second project was to remove and replace pavers on our front path. The work was done on a 90+ degree day, and the crew was tireless and exacting. We love the design they thought up of pavers with cobblestones on the outer edges. Again, the result was perfect and exceeded our expectations.

Throughout, Nick has maintained communication and delivered on time and within budget. We highly recommend Nick!

Imagine being able to ask your brother or your dad who is one of the best building contractors in the state to manage major projects around the house - Nick was this and more. Nick consulted us thoroughly on our projects, meticulously making sure our needs were met yet keeping the practicality of the projects in check. Our projects this time included installing a brand new patio (with specific design and pavers, which Nick sourced for us, keeping us updated throughout the entire process), building a new set of stairs from an existing porch to match the current materials (again, Nick took care of everything), fixing the front deck trim, and the list of projects expanded to include painting our front and back doors as well! Nick and his crew were fantastic, you can see their efficiency in everything they do, including their lunch set-up, which I am still amazed at how prepared they are. Communication with Nick was a breeze, he always kept us updated and we felt very well-taken care of. We will definitely go back to Nick for future projects, and have already recommended him to our friends as well as random people who have complimented our beautiful patio in pictures!

I am writing to give Nick and his business my highest possible recommendation for anything you need in the house repair department, large and small. I cannot imagine a better decision than hiring him and his crew. We first contacted him a few years ago (on the basis of some online reviews) to do a small job that we lacked the time and skills to do ourselves: replace a curbside mailbox. In no time at all, we had a good-looking and securely installed new mailbox. We hired him again shortly thereafter to restore and repair our large and aging deck, and then again a few years later to do more maintenance on it. The work that he and his small crew did was superb. He discusses options with you at each point, and it is clear that he spends time thinking through alternatives -- always with the goal of achieving the optimal, most long-lasting results. So when our 1960s-era house needed some more significant window repairs, replacement of some damaged features, and thorough cleaning and repainting, we once again turned to Nick, who just completed this substantial job for us this Fall. All told, he and his crew were here for a solid three weeks and a bit more, working from morning to sundown. We always knew what was happening and why. He was able to flexibly work around our online pandemic-period working schedule (not hammering at certain times of the day), and more generally was a pleasure to work with. The work itself is so professionally and meticulously done that I cannot imagine it being done better, and once again we were always consulted about decisions and alternatives. As you might gather by now, this is a strong recommendation -- I could not make it stronger.
